To search On-line is overwhelming and to find a photographer that fits "you" when there are so many to choose from it is next to impossible. At Classic Imagery we are a PPA (Professional Photographers of America) member and we take pride in that fact.

Here is a little about me, Erik Fitzpatrick.  I have been taking portraits for over 25 years and it has been a passion for more than 42 years. In my family there have been many photographers, to make a quick count I’m the 4th generation. I started my professional career in 1988 with my mentor Mr. Pearlman of Christopher Michael Studios. I would later open my own studio in January of 1991.  I have loved it ever since!

I would like to tell you about a very precious memory I have with my grandpa.  This goes back to when I was about 5 and Grandpa gave me my first camera (I still have the camera); that moment made a mark on me and I have had a camera in my hand ever since. There is another memory I will share, I know I’m getting a little sappy, but it does tell you that photography has had a great influence on my life. This is about my uncle.  My entire family went on a vacation and I had saved all my money to buy a professional camera on the trip. Toward the end of the vacation my uncle and I were talking about my new camera.  We had the best conversation that I have ever had with him in regards to photography. He was taught by his dad and he learned to just look at the light and tell you what the setting should be. At that time I was unable to do that, so from that point on I taught myself the same skill. To this day I believe he taught me a valuable lesson and a great skill (Thank you uncle!).
